Here's another of my favorite cartoon underdogs... and his dog.

Rocko's shy, timid and meek personality might seem a bit bland for the protagonist of a crazy cartoon like the one he starred in but that's what I liked about him. He was a normal average guy in a sea of weirdos just trying to deal with all the insane situations he found himself in on a daily basis. I think we've all felt like Rocko at some point. Like you're just trying to get by in a crazy and sometimes dangerous world the best you can. All the while he never loses hope or that winning smile of his.

Plus he's a pretty snappy dresser too. So you know, extra points for that.
