The Heavily modified Honorguard Heavy Gunship is a small, single pilot transport. It is best used for fighter support and fleet saturation. Its many antifighter turrets and high mobility makes it effective for laying groundsupport for the boots on the ground and it is a common patrolship in the skies of Alliance planets. Supergoliaths always have a grouping of at least 100 docked on the ship and even more patroling around the Supergoliath. It is capable of carrying 20 ground troops on board but despite this it is not the Alliances main Ground Assault Gunship. It is better used More avidly known as a Light Corvette. The Honorguard is a Veteran vessel, and it used to be known as the Vanguard Corvette but heavy modernization made it the beast it is today. It has 27 antifighter turrets, 7 Light Autocannons for targeting larger ships, a 10 barrel forward missile launcher, 5 forward cannons and 2 frontal torpedo tubes. The ship is 55 meters long and the inside is accessed by a back facing lowering ramp. There are 2 other variants, a Police variant which has 10 Antifighter Turrets, 2 Autocannons, and 2 frontal guns. The last variant is a Completely unarmed Version meant for civilians. The Police variant can be recognized by the Blue Shield of the Alliance on its sides, blue colored hull and and Red security lines while the Military variant has white with Blue outlined areas along with green security lines and the Civilian variant has simple factory default colors of grey metal.
