A little something I did to cheer myself up, since I love getting into romance and relationships. Although I may not be an avid Sonamy and Knuxouge shipper (I'm actually indifferent to those two ships, as a matter of fact), I thought that since I'm covering the Team Sonic trio paired up with the girls, I'd put them in with my OTP Tailaze. To better explain, the three pairings contrast to one another, and I'll analyse how:

Sonamy - The Adventurous Hero and The Perky Chick: Sonic's the freewheeling, cocky, adventurous, outgoing hero while Amy's the plucky, happy-go-lucky, eccentric girl. Although a somewhat plausible pairing (despite Sonic's constant rejections), this is a relationship that is bound to be dysfunctional along the way, considering how one-sided it is on the surface. Sonic is almost childlike in nature as he is playful when it comes to dealing with villains like Eggman and loves to have fun. Not to mention he is also competitive and constantly seeks challenges. Amy tends to be rather domineering, which is completely different from dominant, as she often threatens Sonic with her Piko Piko Hammer to make him submit to her advances, something which doesn't go well for anyone who craves freedom and adventure.

Knuxouge - The Hot-headed Bad Boy and The Sensual Femme Fatale: Now this is a relationship that is more close to a traditional one, despite Rouge being slightly older than Knuckles, and here's how. First off, Rouge, although she is an action girl, prides herself in her looks and femininity, and she uses them to her advantage. She may be a femme fatale who flirts with many men, but it is clear that she has a thing for strong, handsome, bad-boy types as we see in her interactions with Shadow and Knuckles. Seems like her attractions are based on lust, and although Knuckles rarely expressed any interest in Rouge, it's possible that it's the same for him. There's also hints of birds of feather there as they're both stubborn, hot-headed, ambitious, determined, combative, and their passion for jewels, like peas in a pod.

Tailaze - The Headstrong Tomboy and The Sensitive Nerd: Many would find this couple rather odd, and I can't blame them for that since Tails and Blaze, as their current selves, are not exactly at the right age to be together, especially the 6-year gap between them. Then again, neither are Sonamy since Sonic's 15 and Amy's 12, so even if Sonic is 18, Amy would still be underage as she would be 15. Anyway, what makes this a potential couple that could result in a healthy relationship is that it is completely different from Sonamy and Knuxouge. Tails is a sweet, shy, timid, genuine, intelligent, down-to-earth, compassionate, sensitive, and kind-hearted nerdy fox when compared to his three teammates, and Blaze has a few similar traits, though she is harsh and cynical. They also shared similar pasts, though Blaze didn't have anyone to stand up for her while Tails had Sonic. Also, this is an opposites attract type of couple that could actually work as both Tails and Blaze's personalities would harmonise with each other very well, which is interesting as they both have personalities different from the others in their respected genders. Considering that Blaze is a dom and Tails is a sub (both in good ways), they're likely to work, as they'd be similar to other couples in which the woman is the dom and the male is the sub like CalhounxFelix, Krillinx18, etc. I know I'm talking a lot about this couple, well of course, since it's my favourite Sonic shipping, but hey, there's just a lot to say about Tailaze. A sweet, sensitive fox and a tomboy princess cat, they'd make a really cute and adorable Sonic pairing.

So that's pretty much all I have to say on the three ships, and I hope I brought up some good and interesting points on each of them. Hope you guys have a lovely night, day, or whatever your time zone is.
