The Birdkeeper is a funny old character that popped into my head a few years ago. I'm not she exactly what she is, though I detect strong hints of gryphon and dragon there. In any case, her calling is birds: she lives in the mountains and tends to the wounded or sick birds that pass through.

An older piece, this one was my first experiment with white acrylic ink AND my first time using textured clayboard AND my first time inking with India Ink.

I think it turned out pretty well, and looking at it again I am now itching to get back to my clayboard. *wiggles fingers*
