All 31 of my Drawtober art cards together!
Boy, this sure was a challenge. I learned very quickly why most people stick to sketches and ink for monthly drawing tasks, but I couldn't help myself. This project really helped me get re-acquainted with traditional media and having the guts to lay down color without being able to "undo" if you mess up. Definitely a confidence builder and an exercise in working with the media instead of trying to make it work for you.
Cards are available for purchase at my [Etsy]!

Thank you! I am really glad I was able to do this, but very iffy on whether I'l be able to next year. It's terribly difficult to clear your schedule for an entire month during the busiest time of year. I thought drawing on these tiny ACEOs would make it easier, but I still managed to make tons of work for myself by going full color AND setting up a photo studio for each one XD I've really gotta figure out a way I can art without going overboard!
I can completely understand. This is the first year I've done Inktober myself and I started with a low bar (just photocard sized inks) and even that was difficult for me to complete. I have a hard time reaching goals I set haha.... OTL
But it's incredible what you got done in a month! And the set is beautiful one at a time or as a collective, and I think that's neat.

Too true, the only way I was able to complete these cards was to have absolutely zero time for anything else! I have a terrible habit of saying "I'm going to keep this simple! ..oh but what if I just add this little thing.. and this, and THIS, AND-" before I know it I've made another elaborate project for myself. Your Inktober cards are gorgeous by the way! Do you plan to go back and color them sometime or just keep them as inks?
There should be a day celebrating you and your dedication! lol. Seriously though, that's really cool that you managed all of that work. Majorly impressive.
Thank you so much! I look up to artists like you so I'm really pleased to get that compliment! <3 I think I'll leave them as inks. I'm really only good with digital and colored pencil (for colors, anyway). It's not really like people want to buy my stuff or anything anyway so... it was more just... 'can I do this?' and I did, and I'm proud, even though they're simple cards.

"I look up to artists like you" fff excuse me while I cry a lil bit ;u; <3
Maaannnn I haven't used colored pencil in ages. I'd love a good excuse to bust those out again
Aww you should be proud! I think you might be surprised if you tried putting your stuff up for sale.

Shh omg you. No crying, you're amazing and totally worth being looked up to. <3
Colored pencils are my THING, traditionally. I never really learned anything about markers so... I got pretty good with pencils hehe
I wouldn't even have a single clue how to start that. Like 'art for money= how??' haha

That's super sweet of you! I might take you up on that one day. I've considered it but I think I have a lot of work to do before I'm good enough for people to want to pay realistic amounts for me. I've had people ask me about commissions and never come back, but I feel like I'm not overpricing myself (maybe even underpricing?) Anyway, thank you. You're so kind <3
