There goes a tale of an old port town. Not a major one, but it enough to be preserved in its own economics.
Like many other ports, this one had its own lighthouse. Yet unlike others, it was an abandoned one. Or so the people first thought.

A young family used to live there; a man, woman and their daughter. Until tragedy came. The man had developped a drinking problem as he was sick of his life as lighthouse keeper. In a raging rant, he killed his wife.
Finding her lifeless corpse the morning after, he threw himself off the cliffs. Their daughter dying of starvation as nobody came up to the lighthouse that often.

Since that day, people had been avoiding the place. Calling it cursed.
And then it came... the green light.
Green light emerged from the top of the lighthouse. People were terrified. They had no idea what it was. As some brave men dared to go look, they would find nothing. All but a green lantern where the flame was supposed to be. A soft humming would fill the air whenever someone entered at night as the light shone it's brightest.

Despite being scared, it was more so that they could nit explain it. They said it was the ghost of the daughter, or maybe the wife.
And unlike many stories where a spiteful ghost would lure ships onto the cliffs, this one did not.
This light actualy guide them to safety.

And thus the people let it rest. Even becoming proud of their ever present ghost lighthouse keeper. During the day, some would go and repair the tower. Some would even bring tribute to the ghost.

What many wouldn't know, is how at nights of a new moon, the spirit enters in a material body. Walking around her long time home.
Alone, with only her ghostly green light as company.
Until a certain sergal mercenary arrives. A western sergal, white and orange fur. And he just happened to visit on a night with a new moon...
