This is a Kodiak Class Battleship, as seen Forward, Aft, Portside, and Topside. This is the design of my Starfleet ship, the USS Gunslinger; NCC-6019. I posted this so someone who draws starship deisgns can see it.

Yeah that is true now that I look at it the nacelles look like the ones from an Excelsior (sp) class. (which the Enterprise b was) But yeah back then that level of weaponry would be more than sufficient to handle anything of that era.
Did they even have battleship class vessels back then though O.o Im not as familiar as I could be with all the classes they had.

Well, this is a design made by a company called Jackill's, who made lots of tech manuals on ships. Aside from using a Miranda/Avenger primary hull, she is not a usual 'kitbash'.
And yes, there were several battleships designed for the Motion Picture through Generations era.

Story about the Kodiak Class is here: http://mmslasher69.tripod.com/id75.htm
The Gunslinger was stored in mothball for 70 years in the Federation surplus depot at Qualor Two. After two major engagements with the Borg, Starfleet agreed it was time to reinstitute the Kodiak Class Battleships to service. The Gunslinger was chosen by Captain Robert Olivares and Commander Kenny Kitsune. Her weapons and systems were upgraded. However, one photon launcher on the lower pylon was replaced with a rail gun, a non-energy magnetic-launched weapon that has been proven effective against Borg shielding.

If there was one person who didn't need an explanation for a rail gun, it's me. I've loved them since I was a kid. Starfleet really does depend over much on directed energy weapons sometimes.
Considering this is a 70 year old spaceframe, even upgraded, what role does it play in the fleet? Surely not a front line combat capacity.

Cool! Well, that was the role of the Defiant originally, as a fonrt-line combat ship against the Borg. The Gunslinger would be like a second-line combat ship against the Borg. And the spaceframe is very sturdy. She was mothballed before she saw any major combat against the Klingons, Romulans, or Oriions, so she was near mint in the surplus depot.
That's okay. The reason I asked is, once during high school, a friend(who shall remain anonymous) and I got together and came up with a starship of our own. It was the design of the Enterprise E from Star Trek: First Contact. We called it, the USS Freedom. You have to know, this was around the time with Star Trek: Bridge Commander first came out.
I'm pleased at such a reaction from the furrny fandom to this funtastic mod by Eric Kristiansen. Nice and civil and enthusiastic. This is the big dog of the Enterprise Superclass. I'm more partial to the Firestone Class myself.
You got any pics of the Curnow Class, Kenny? That'll wow 'em.
