Chef Zeric strikes again!
Ingredients/Supplies:
Olive Oil
Thin Pork Chops (with the bones)
Large Skillet (with a lid)
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Salt
Pepper
Herbs de Provence
1. As you can see from this description and ingreidents, its a fairly simple and quick dish to make that pleases everyone. Step one, take your pork chops and sprinkle Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder and Onion Powder in a generous amount. Sprinkle a half teaspoon of Herbs de Provence into your palm and grind it down using your other paw and sprinkle evenly across the meat.
2. Before repeating Step 1. On the other side of the chop, gently massage the herbs into the meat using the tips of your fingers so all the ingredients stick to the delicious thin meat. Also, when sprinkling the herbs, be sure to spice the bones too, it is delicious and helps add flavor.
3. Flip the meat over and repeat Step 1. and be sure to massage the herbs into the meat! Youre almost there!
4. Pour about a quarter cup of Olive Oil into your skillet and turn onto a ledium heat. After letting the oil get hot for about a minute or two, gently lay your pork chops into the oil (you should hear an audible sizzle) and place the lid over it. In about 3-3.5 minutes, flip your pork chops over. Please be careful as oil could splatter. If you are making more than tao, please be sure to add more oil in between chops.
Author’s Recommendation: Eating this dish with Apple Sauce is always a good idea. If the meat is too salty for your taste or too herby, dipping it into Apple Sauce cuts it down a little and adds an exciting new flavor. ENJOY!
