Perhaps some folks have been wondering why I've been so quiet lately. Work is largest part of the answer. Most of this year has been spent getting ready to change our computer system. To accomplish this change, we also had to do our yearly inventory two months early. All this has had me putting in extra hours at the plant and even bringing some of my work home during my off hours.
We got the inventory done Friday night. At one point I was walking from the offices to the factory when I noticed there was a beautiful sunset lighting the sky. I could only take a moment so I took this pic with my phone and got back to work. It's taken me until today to upload it.
I have a story stalled in my 'working' folder. I keep getting moments of inspiration but they get overwhelmed by other needs and commitments. Our new computer system finally 'went live' today and it was pretty much a disaster. I suspect there will be many more late nights and working weekends in my future.
But at least you know I'm not dead or eaten by a Halloween zombie.

I did wonder about the Zombie Apocalypse...
*hugs...
My brother told me a story about a neighbor he had who was dying of cancer. The fellow kept himself occupied as much as possible and asked Dave if he could mow his yard for which my brother paid him. He said one day he heard the mower shut off and went out to see if there was a problem and found the old boy just sitting there looking at the woods. He told me he knew what the old boy was doing, and that was trying to take in as much of nature as he could in these latter days.
Just don't you let all of those pretty sunsets pass you by Mr. Wolf.
