This sheet isn't finished, but I'm going to be busy for the rest of the day, so I figured I might as well scan what I got to. Icons in same order as sketches.

bai (N/A)
In this you can see the very beginnings of a head that I never really placed a person to yet, was simply toying with expression and angle stuff. Was gonna make it a little suggestive sorta but ah well, maybe next time. x3
Happy with a lot of these. The squirrel sucks I know, but I like the rest of 'em. x3 With the markings and colour in place I don't think there'd be any trouble telling what the rest are.
Was going for sort of a "meep" face with Bai, but he ended up just looking sad instead D: Ah well, sad bai is still cute. I really like how he came out actually. Didn't have to look up any sort of ref or anything, he just sorta popped out of my pencil and I like him just how he is x3
Anyway, see y'all tomorrow.

I think you sorta start to get into the swing of new things after a while when you make yourself draw them over and over x3 I think the biggest challenge for me is that I'm not necessarily trying to get the exact headshape as reality, since my style is quite stylized, but attempting to keep things in my style and have them remain distinguishable is tricky... as the squirrel on this page proves. x3 But I'll land it eventually :P Thanks!
That is definately the tricky part. Tooning is harder than people realize, especially when you want to do toony or stylized from the start of things. I used to think that it was beyond my abilities to exaggerate form and expression at all. And realism is a bitch when you get hung up on details.
