Found this little vent art I never posted from june, I believe here we have: damn near panic attack, mashed potato brains, frustration I can't do anything.
Drew them towards the end of my time taking strattera for adhd. It worked great for just a little under a year, but eventually lead to periods of tiredness, anxiety, elevated heart rate, general feeling like a zombie. I'm glad i'm off it now, finally back to normal. I've been tempted to try I different medication, but I'm not at that point yet.
My focus has been pretty awful since, but whatever I've been doing the last couple weeks it's actually been somewhat manageable. Only differences I can think of would be I'm watching a lot of streams on twitch, but like... nice chill ones that aren't too distracting. I mostly listen to them, but then I can get a little break from my work to refresh my mind when something interesting happens, then back to work. Also allotting time at the start of the day to play something fun or draw whatever I want. It's not perfect, but it's better. I'll work towards tuning this to better use my time. The end goal is being able to work efficiently enough to make art a full time job.

hah, yeah I don't have the hyper end of things, I guess you'd call it adhd-inattentive, or add. I used to get overwhelemed with various thoughts, but now I'm better at limiting the number of projects I work on... or really even think about at once. Knowing lots of things but then only have the answer 30 minutes after it's useful is how I roll, though sometimes I feel like some information just falls into a bottomless chasm never to be found again. :P
yeah I've tried variations of that. Not that helpful. I guess the little extra stimulation a stream provides is helpful. The music I listen to also works to a lesser degree, sometimes I start with that instead. Really the ultimate tool for productivity for me is streaming. I can work hours at a time with 0 distraction nor really feeling the need to take a break. Something about knowing I can't just go off and do something else without interrupting the stream for everyone provides me with focus.
