About the peice

-I've been working on this on and off since August.
-This started off as a vent art doodle.
-Yes, the background sucks. The peice itsself was spontaneous in general, and I need more practice with backgrounds anyways. It took me awhile to figure out what to put there, so I went with the volcanoey environment, and Hakan looking like he sort off jumped off a cliff ready to rip your face off.
-I want to start doing more backgrounds, and add more detail in my work in general. I want my work to be brought to the next level.
-Yea, I know lava starts getting blackish afterawhile. I just wasn't sure how to recreate that without it looking like shit. So the peice is pissing lava. oops.
-The background is grainy cause I didn't use a marker base. I just overall felt Hakan would stick out better.
-The cliff wall should probably be darker o.O

I'm overall happy that I didn't AVOID the background this time, and gave it a shot. I'm kind of ashamed of it. My others will be better is all.

About Hakan/The Nimrahj

-Yay perspective.
-Hakan is pronounced HAY-KUN, if you wanted to know.
-His mane is black flame. I tried a diffrent way this time to shade it. Bleh its ok.
(sorry if I'm repetitive with the following, some people keep asking)
-Yes I invented these characters, theyre mine. Yes I invented the Nimrahj.
-The Nimrahj aren't lions.
-Hakan is a demon of wrath. I use him to express that. I'm very easily pissed off, and have been more than ever lately for multiple reasons, so this peice is what came out of it.

I'll try and make a full body pic of Hakan soon.
