A very impressive piece, and certainly worth a read by folks, I'd say. In a few places it hopped a little from past to present tense- not sure if that was intentional, but all in all, great work! Thanks very much for sharing this with us!

Thank you! Yeah, the present tense thing is a dumb habit I have from screenplay formatting that I'm having trouble breaking, it keeps seeping in every now and then and I gloss over it on proofreads.

This was sweet. It honestly felt good to read, and the characters were cute. Like above said, the tense bouncing can be a little jarring, but its a delightful story.
