This is blissy (budding bliss) and brights (brightskies) at age 14. I wanted to draw this age because it is an importnat developmental point for the characters so I would love if you would ask their 14 year old selves questions or roleplay with them.
These two are meant to be the prettyiest ponies in school, I hope i succeeded.
Visual description: Brights and Blissy stand tail to tail their tails crossing with Blissys in front showing off their new makeovers to their schoolmates (not shown). Both have their front right hoof lifted blissy also has his back left hoof lifted slightly out. Brights is on the viewers left her hair is a bit shorter then her grown up self but styled the same her sunset colored hair falling over her muzzle slightly and coming into a wave on the bottom she had a yellow star clip by her right ear. both face each other so they have thier heads turned towards the center. brights wears a beaded necklace and matching bracelet on her left hoof both colored like the sunset her fur is sky blue her hooves deeper shiney blue and her eyes match the sunset of her mane. She is slightly on the pudgy side. Her wings are held up. Both ponies look very confident. Blissy is soft pink with a blue heart on his flank surrounded by blue dots that go over his cutiemark, a pruple apron with a silver needle sewing a darker purple heart patch onto it. He has blue stocking markings halfway up his legs his left ear has a blue tip and right ear has a blue heart. his blue tail and mane are both short the mane spiked up in front around his horn and curled slightly at the bottom. He wears a rainbow scarf around his neck to show his pride and his purple eyes looks towards brights. behind them is a simple purple background with hearts...i had no background ideas :p Oh and Brights is still blank at this age I didn't just forget to mention a cutiemark.

Ooh! Blissy does sound a bit different from when Ilast saw her.

It's cute how Blissy is showing pride in being herself. Knowing Brights has been there for her for so long is definitely a bonus. It can be super difficult to feel confident in opening your true self up alone. Brights has always come off as loving and supportive. She's a great mom to Bucky so her playful maternal instinct definitely would help give Blissy some epic self-validation and confidence to be herself.

Yes though here blissy is going by male pronouns. Brights is the one that pushed him to become confident.
Brights is super loving and supportive and very accepting. Without her blissy would have been lost. Young blissy may be very mama like but if anyone has those " mama bear" instincts it's actually brights (though both do brights just has it more as a young teen)

Patches didn't need help like blissy did there wasn't a traumatic childhood moment for him. His best friend is touchdown but downy is just his little buddy not some great help

I learned recently that i am meant to be a colt atleast thats what the ponies at school say but I don't care colt or filly I'm still me. I've always been confident in myself. I just needed a push through a rough week was all. Now I see that I can be amazing as a colt too. I'd date me, welll....a less girly me any ways .

Blissy: I always thought I was a filly so I think you mean colt. It was awful they brought us too this table were this stallion went through our school files and gave us these packets blue for colts pink for fillies. I got that's with brights and the stallion forced me to take blue then go with the boys to thier lecture abouthow the body changes as we get older. Brights says she got a lecture about the same but filly bodies. The stallion yelled at me ans took my bow. I got it backbut it was pretty messed up. I didn't get to tell anypony cause he told everypony I was faking to sneak in the filly lecture. I asked mom and dad when I got home and found out the truth.

Do you think Blissy will go to the big city when she becomes all grown up to be a big singer? Would you think she'd give you free tickets to watch her up front while taking you to all sorts of parties? *Daydreams* I bet that would be a lot of fun. Blissy: ya I guess she might I know she wants to be a theater pony or a rock star but she's performed alot and never gotten her cutiemark so she's a bit worried it's not her true talent. I'd love her to do that if it makes her happy and I know she's give me tickets but I'd hate to see her leave I'm no city pony I don't think so I would still be here most of the time.

Blissy: some ponies do tease her ya, it's gotten worse lately now that more and more classmates have theirs I think she's gonna be the only blank in high school. I've noticed the closer we get to graduation the more she's teased for it doesn't help that she hangs out with me we are a bit of an easy target together, if not for how many ponies are crushing on one or both of us we would be in trouble but that's cuts the ponies teasing us down and those who like us tend to defend us, even if they just like one they defend us both cause they know it'll get em on that ponies good side.

well if you wanted an in depth one you could note me, if you wanted simple you could just send a message interacting with them here for example i opened roleplay with trinket on his ref http://www.furaffinity.net/view/25049505/ you can read mine and yosh's comments to get an idea that started to become roleplay towards the end when they were playing with the pillow cloud
