Zee-Zee's recent pictures of Zed and Zena got me thinking that Kaffre's mommy and daddy haven't shown up in my art much (well, I did sorta draw Mommy once - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1431430/ and both characters appear in my stories, but I thought I should showcase them both a bit more...
Anyway, this picture shows a typical morning in the Kitten household. Blaise does love Kaffre and would be more than happy to spend the day with him, but this particular bit of drama plays out every morning hence his amused grin. Besides Kaffre will be back to his cute playful self again once Mommy gets him to Daycare...

Thanks Zee-Zee, Bliase is indeed a very friendly daddy and Kaffre certainly thinks he's a cool playmate!
Having one's tail attached to a kitten can be quite the inconvenience, but fortunately Delores is quite experienced at prying him off an distracting him long enough for Daddy to get to the bus!

This is a cute scene, Kaffre. Little ones always want to be a part of everything. This is especially the case when it comes to what mommy and daddy are doing. Though, like any great father, Blaise is taking in the moment while he can. :)
My compliments also on Blaise's shirt. The design is quite clever and makes me wonder if it is to symbolize the place of work he is going to, or just something fun you came up with? Regardless, his appearance here definately shows signs of how truly fun of a dad he is. :)

Thanks Yosh-E-O, I thought it was a cute scene too, but was a bit worried it might make Blaise look mean (the expression was supposed to more of a patronizing "again?" look, but came off rather more smarmy than would have been ideal).
I chose the Bio-Hazard WHIMIS symbol because I thought it was cute and I was regretting not buying one of the T-shirts one of my class-mates designed and ordered (which featured the symbol prominently), but I'm leaning toward making Blaise a Lab-worker too...
Anyway, I's glad you likies Yoshi-ducky! *hugs*

Indeed. I likes it more after that wonderful description you just added, too. The amount of additional depth you are putting into Blaise, as I imagine you have done for Delores, gives Kaffres world more life and makes it all that more enjoyable to take part in.
Keep up the great work! I shall look forward to seeing how things evolve within this delightful, young family of yours. Oopa!

Yay! Blaise is somewhat based on myself (like Kaffre) so I'm really glad people like him so much. I'm planning a similar picture of Kaffie & Delores soon too!
I've come to the conclusion that true character development is very difficult for a babyfur character who's intended to never really grow up completely so instead I've focused on building the world in which Kaffre lives and his relationships with the people he interacts with during his adventures instead.
Anyway, I sincerely hope that the Kitten family's adventures will be as entertaining to others as they are to me (once I get them outta my head). *hugs*
