"Hush, little one. Its alright my sweet, I will be here at your side." murmered the mother bear as she touched her nose to her cub's. With a new burst of courage from his mother's touch and loving words, the young cub bounded on through the marsh with his mother close at his side.

I'm no good at coming up with mini-stories for these pieces, but I figured I'd give it a shot. :shrug: Anyway! I was originally just doing this piece for fun, as well as my mother, as my bond with her grows stronger with every passing day. However I recently discovered that there was a local art contest and I fully intend on entering this piece. Wish me luck!

Btw...the thumbnail of this looks like a photograph...@_@ There are parts of this that I absolutely ADORE, and others that I'm like "OMG DON'T LOOK AT THE UGLYNESS!"
