Trying to figure out the design for my sparkledog character.

She's training at the best Sparkledog academy to be the best, nicest, mary-sue-iest, sparkliest, most perfect, using-iPods-with-no-thumbs-liest sparkledog there is. Except she sucks at it. She doesn't have very good control over all of her super-sparkley magic powers (which are obviously numerous. Sparkledog and all) and she essentially fries her circuits using too much magic to do simple spells. So when she's nicely rested and hasn't been fucking up profusely, she looks like everyone's favourite high-contrast, eye-bleedy sparkledog.

But when she fucks up with her magic (which is pretty often) she uses up too much magic, which takes away what makes her "pretty". She gets greyer, her ears become less riduclously large and fluffy, her fur becomes more mangy and untameable and shit. Basically she starts turning into a real dog. She's never let herself get all grey (thank god for weekends?) and she's pretty scared shitless of what will happen if she does.

I tried to make her as generic sceney/sparkley as I could but I'm not fussy on the ears right now...I also don't know what colour to make her skin. I was thinking rainbow since she's supposed to be so over-the-top sparkley but...enhh. She is a work in progess. Obviously. Since...I didn't even colour in her bow. O:
