This is a commission for Azriahl. It was intended only to be a black-and-white pencil sketch, but I decided to run away with what I had come up with. Colored pencil is still not my medium of choice, and I messed up the swirly thing on the left... But I think it turned out okay.

I love the colors you chose for the swirls, they go along with each other very nicely. ^^ And the detail on the character is fantastic.

Only thing is, I think the guitar could be made to look just a tad less 2-dimensional.
I think some of the bottom would be visible from that angle. Especially if he's playing it seated.
Pretty bang-up otherwise. ^^

Nice attempt, a bit better than my first attempt at colored pencil.

I kinda wanna get into it more to work with traditional media more...

What kind of paper did you use when you colored this?
I think the texture may be too rough, and took away from the color a bit.

Anyway, I like the thicker lines around the outside of the body.
