Halloween 2017 - Teleporting Horror - Stareing Contest Duo
Ouuiiiii...not to sound judgmental but...things with no faces are creeeepppy...at least those that want to strangle you....
Still coming off Slender eh? Well, that's the thing, you GOT to stare at'em like I told you. And if ya don't lone-wolf it, you can get past it pretty easy like I said.
See, this here is coming off an example of a horror antagonist's most spammable tricks, teleportation. Seriously, everybody uses it. Scream kinda explained it once by having two characters as the same masked killer in one of their films, but later kinda skewed into the same process.
It always seems like horror entities can teleport. you see them outside your window...wait a moment, turn around, and instantly they're right behind you. Or, more commonly, you're looking RIGHT AT THEM...look away for just a moment (mostly for a stupid reason), and whoosh! it's like weren't even there.
I know it's suppose to be a shock value, or maybe to give regular-ole'-joe killer some power, but it's rather over used. Maybe you can get away with it for the more bizzare characters (Slenderman, that SCP statue guy, etc.)...but that's not to say the fault is just with them. It's the protagonists too. WHY would you ever look away from the horror creature unless you were running away (only to look back and get snapped anyway)? If ya do, you can be they'll just teleport behind the next corner with a HELLO! brand cleaver in hand.
So, taking my own horror theory to test, I brought Rigel in to test the "double blinker" theory, where two people alternate blinks while watching some susceptible to not being able to teleport spam all over the place...
But why'd you push ME in front? You're the braver one!
I've been through more horrors than you. Get on my level, then you can complain.

You are supposed to stare at him? I thought you were supposed to run away, at least it worked half of the time for Micheal and Gavin (actually the first Rage Quit video I watched).
That SCP statue was easily the hardest part of the game. Getting through a single room while keeping eyes on him was very difficult, especially in those rooms that seal themselves after 3 seconds. 'Radical Larry" however, was the one who gave me the most horror.

Yeeeaaah...you just look where he is, and continually back away so he won't warp around ya. If ya can't see him, he'll 'port all over the place. Though you might just have to stare in his direction with a tree in front of you...don't know if that was the beta or what...
I've seen bits of that game, but never the fully...think they keep adding to it with all those weird things they say exist...
Weird reading though...some of these. A glass of Gin and Tonic with the mind of a British military officer? A teleporting chair that teleports other chairs? A tape that's like those Rings movies? Mundane objects with really weird properties...
Humans are weird remember.
Yeah...oh wow, this is funny. One of the SCPs is a diap--...uhh...nevermind Az.
*sigh* Like I said...weird...
