They were kidnapped at the age of 12 and 4 respectively, they were forced by Boss to work for him almost 18 years. They were indirectly saved by Tom, since he killed Boss.
Seeing this, Gamma thought that it was the perfect opportunity to kill Tom and escape with his brother, but when he was about to do that he could see that Tom was absorbed in the sight of the emptiness. Then he remembers that in his childhood Tom had refused to give the children to Boss.
Erick (who was then 22 years old) told Gamma that if they left Tom he would probably be tortured and killed by the other Boss partners, that if they were to escape there was no way they could leave someone who suffered the same that they, Gamma nodded. and so they escaped not without firing the place and taking all the money that had Boss.
Shortly afterwards in a new city and with new identities that money could buy, Gamma managed to get work and made Erick study, nevertheless nothing seemed to help Tom, he constantly had nightmares and allusied with the past, the mind of Tom it would remain fractured for many more years.

Al ver esto Gamma penso que era la oportunidad perfecta para matar a Tom y escapar con su hermano, pero cuando se disponia a hacer eso pudo percatarse que Tom estaba ensimismado mirando al vacio. Entonces él recordo que en su niñez Tom se habia negado a entregarle a los niños a Boss.
Erick (que en ese momento tenia 22 años) le dijo a Gamma que si dejaban a Tom probablemente seria torturado y asesinado por los otros socios de Boss, que si iban a escapar no habia manera de que pudieran a abandonar a alguien que sufrio al igual que ellos, Gamma asintio. y fue asi que escaparon no sin antes incendiar el lugar y llevandose todo el dinero que tenia Boss.
Poco tiempo despues en una nueva ciudad y con nuevas identidades que el dinero pudo comprar, Gamma logro conseguir trabajo e hizo que Erick cursara sus estudios, no obstante nada parecia ayudar a Tom, constantemente tenia pesadillas y alusinaba con el pasado, la mente de Tom permaneceria fracturada durante muchos años mas.
