John L. Smith, usually known as Jack Smith — or as the “Father of the Road Runner,” passed away on Friday at the age of 94, according to his wife, Laverne.
not to be Confused with Road Runner Cartoon.. Jack Smith is the Plymouth Road Runner Project/Product Planner who responsible of all the Road Runner Muscle cars that ever hit the streets.
i don't really know him well before i read about Muscle Cars magazine and doing my last semester's final on Muscle cars book.
but after i made Hurstley.. i started to develop interest in Road Runners..
since Hurstley is a '73 Road Runner, i feel like im being a part of this Mopar Family.. and i have to pay tribute to the Father who made Hurstley Exist in the first place.. im pretty sure Hurstley would be real sad to hear this news..
RIP John L. "Jack" Smith 2017
God Bless you forever <3
