I made this a couple months back before I decided to "rejoin" FurAffinity hence why there's still a lazy gradient background and not something that's behind him that's worth a damn. The white outline was an experiment that kinda failed since it was the first time I used the select tool in that way plus the shading itself could be done better along with the anatomy (speaking of which, I just copied/pasted the crossed arms but it looks kinda awkward now. He was originally supposed to have four). Life's been kinda shitty to me lately but I'm still very much practicing and trying to create more art to upload. Hopefully that'll be soon.

Now to talk about the actual character. Meet Gideon! He's a big bad tarantula...actually, that's sort of a lie. He's supposed to be a bad guy but ends up turning good and is really just a giant fluffy boy. Does he look menacing? He would like to think so, but he's really a big sweetheart and cares deeply about his friends. Feel free to give him a hug, he won't hurt ya! By the way, that's supposed to be a loincloth of sorts around his waist.
