He was too old for the trenches, but he fought in the Boer War!

ah then he knows how the dutch fight etc. especially with there gut aiming shots etc. though I had seen in some of the ww1 films some old men are in there. especially for the british army. I think he could pull it off in the trenches but I agree he is to old for that.
