Happy Birthday  priestessshizuka !!!
I was going to make something completely different but then I thought I should do what I enjoy doing the most. Designing. And it feels like a tradition or something lol, since I had designed her a kimono last year for her Bday. I had a lot of fun with this piece.
I went with the idea of a samurai/warrior esk kind of look, but stuck with the overal color palette/look of red and white, from her shrine maiden outfit. I kept with a somewhat basic look, not going too overboard with detail this time around. I was stuck on the whole red ribbon motif, so placed a bunch of them all over the place lol. The Hakama pants were going to just be red, but then I messed with gradients, white to red then red to white. I thought the red to white would still still stick with original design sorta.
I took the look of her uchigatana/Katana from the drawings she herself had made, and came up with something fancy, but not too fancy. Only the sheath and hand guard were my doing. She is a kitsune, so fire is her thang.
Lastly is that little crest in the top left corner. I had the idea of a clan crest, like I did for Kayden. I knew there had to be two things, kitsune and fire. Couple sketches later and ya got that. The four tails placed around it is a really nice touch, since ya know, she got four tails, lol
The only thing in this picture i did not make, was the fox mask (and katana sword) that was all her.
