Ahoy hoy~
Woohoo, finally finished that artwork of my Dungeons&Dragons OC Lesath that I was working on every now and then in my freetime since mid September *w*
I tried out something new with the colouring, and even if it is just a slight change, I think it does look nicer than my usual mixed shading technique.
So I will probably turn this into my usual colouring style.
(Though I should probably do a couple more artworks with that technique before I actually deside)
Well well, what else to say?
Lesath himself was also an experiment. He is inspired by FateGO Asterios and FE10 Skrimir and I aimed to draw a very bulky and muscular character, more muscular than what I would normaly draw.
But I guess that also went well, at least I'm quite happy about the result^^
And Lesath is so far my favorite among my DnD characters, I like this big idiot a lot, haha, so drawing him was very enjoyable :'D

A bit hard to say what kinda builds I'm using, since each time I play him, I make a new one to try out xD
He was a totem barb, a zealot barb, and currently he's a sand flavored tundra barb. (By sand flavored I mean that instead of an ice aura, he got a sand aura xD)

Interesting :) I see you took the traits of the base Minotaur, and merely changed his appearance. Honestly that works fine too :D
The way I build them was that they were pretty much Largely build, hence powerful build, and could wield Large sized weapons and attack with their horns as a bonus action instead of shoving a foe. yee, I figured I don't wanna bother the DM with custom races and stuff, so I just took what fits best and just did the cosmetic change :3
The Minos one you linked does sound pretty neat too! Didn't know that one existed, though considering the art, I guess that one is homebrew.

Usually I ask my husband to build the characters for me, since he can get that done in like 30min or so.
I just tell him what I'm generally looking for and then he recommends stuff :3
Love me my barbs though, I find them quite fun to play^^
