Wanted to do some inkin' practice with my crowquill and ink. This is really small, btw - I think 4 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches? Would any of you guys be interested in buying something like this? I'd mail you the original and put it in a little protective case, too. Just wondering, because I found this REALLY fun and relaxing to do.
Anywho, I couldn't remember if groundhogs had tails or not, and it turns out they do. So Agent Groundhog's tail was... eaten. In a tragic accident. Involving a water buffalo and some toothpaste.
And it has struck me only recently how COOL everything looks when you put a futuristic gun in it somewhere. Yes indeed.

It's limiting, but in a way that is calming. Less to worry about, I guess. C: It's odd, because I've come to hate inking digitally (sooo boring, lol), but I find it relaxing inking with a crowquill and actual ink.
Because of this, I am DETERMINED to become a good inker, so no worries about me stopping, haha. I love to colour digitally, but ink traditionally - therefore I must master it if I want my pieces to improve, haha.

Thanks! A couple things were happy accidents though, lol - the ink blobbed while I was lining his collar, resulting in me filling in the top section of the vest, and I smudged his one leg because I forgot it was still wet, and so his shoes became boots XD. I'm rather pleased with the vest accident, it looks much better than it would if I hadn't filled it in, I think.
