Yeah, what IS it with kids and candy anyway? Personally, I don't have too much myself, and yeah, some taste good, but I don't go nuts for'em.

I think it's a metabolism thing...

Ah, right. Anyway, for kids, Halloween's number one thing is...candy. Yep. Ya go to a house dressed up, say the magic words, and get free sugary loot (or not, leading to a buzzkill of "why would you give me baby apples!?). On the base, it's cool, everybody loves free stuff, and to kids, candy is apparently gold.

Maybe it's because having too much is bad for you? Humans seem to do a looooot of that.

Oh yeah, the temptation for the forbidden...

Don't they call it forbidden "fruit"? I guess for kids, it's forbidden "candy".

Either or, candy's the draw for the kids. Sure, ya dress up, but it's the reward for walking down the street and bugging people at their homes to give you treats they purchased out of their own pocket. It's kind of like one of those unwritten rule things, that since it's "Halloween" and you're not out in costume, you're suppose to have a bowl of stuff waiting for visitors to take one (or two, or three, or four). Then they leave and gouge that night and the next till they get drunk off the sugary goodness.

I think the kid became chocolate drunk...you think his "pops" can handle him like that?

He's got four hands, if he can't, that's his issue, we're not chaperons. Besides, I'd rather be pizza drunk.
