What?! That's dumb! I say putting in the calculation of the time it took and cost is never a bad baseline and honestly in business for physical pieces it goes up 50% or so ((I'm working for a tiny tiny business rn)) It's hard to price things Specially when skills are being refined (I definitely can tell your work is going to blow minds if you keep at it. I love this piece because of the nice construction of the tree and how it goes throughout the piece. The pond is pretty and I love the yin yang fishie tale :3)
Thank you it really means a lot. I had this priced at around $35 USD because of the resin, clay, time and effort put into it. Tried to sell it at an open street market and some man who was a fish breeder at the time wanted this for his fish room. Once i gave him the price he was complaining about it in front of other potential customers... was really embarrassing
He was not in the right at all. In fact that is EXTREMELY rude! $35 isn't a bad price for a hand made piece like this at all!!! Yes it can be hard for non artists to fully understand how much time things can take/the worth. But man... To shame someone like that in hopes for a lower price is not okay. >[
