This is one of four panels for my tent for Burning Man this year.
Sewed panels to go on a 10x10 open air pavilion, then tie-dyed them. This 'ocean' panel is sort of the test panel. It was the easiest to dye and to paint. Sticking with the theme of evolution, the tent is in four panels.
Creation/destruction of the universe
life in the ocean
life in the forest
on the cusp of space travel
and back to creation/destruction; a continual loop.
Airbrushed in about 5 hours in acrylics over tie-dyed muslin. This panel is ~10 feet long on the top and 15 feet at the bottom.
