"Welcome to the midnight watch..."

OMG??? actual artwork... or something closely resembling it. I don't know just finally had an itch to draw.

Anyways this pic was based on two things, "Save the population" by the Red hot chili peppers (surprise...). The song has been debated on its meaning but at the end the sense of emergency and dramatic tone they take always reminded of those long night shifts/ calls which is the second part. We've all had those endless nights before. Those nights where its all hands on deck before it all goes sideways. Tired, past the braking point and the only real thought in your mind outside of what your doing and whats going on is wondering how your family is sleeping, and how in another life maybe you could be too. But this is now, and this is the duty you took on when you side up for this. This is your life, and theres still a lot of work to be done before we can all go home.

The scene and characters don't have anything really going on as far as a story on anythings, more just symbolic of the feeling of those nights. The only other story I guess that is there is the Snow Leopard is named Ally. Shes a young EMT out of the gate wanting to make a difference in the world and rise through the ladder to better help everyone. She ends up getting suck with the worst shift available with a very bitter and salty Paramedic, don't have a name for him but ya. One of those guys who worked past burn out and now this is just the only thing he knows in order to be normal. Anyways I hope you enjoy.
