Your eyes say forever,
Your hands say you'll hold me.
Yet when I feel alone and down,
You're nowhere to be found.
You promised a world of rainbows,
Of heavenly light, shining.
I'm sitting here, a bleeding heart.
You promised we'd never be apart.
I gave everything to you.
After my last bad run.
Does it make you feel good to see,
How much control you have over me?
I give you chance after chance.
I put my heart out on the line.
Yet I know when I need you most,
You'll be as visiable as a ghost.
You can't expect me to stay with you.
God knows I want to so bad.
But I think it's time I move on.
Now when you'll need me, I'll be the one gone.
No more eyes to gaze onto your form.
No more hands to hold you.
Leaving you cold and hurt,
Lying, dying, in the dirt.
