As some of you might know, for a while I have been building a game called Apocalypse, a zombie arcade shooter. That game is about 75% complete and right now I have been asking a few people I know to teat it and tell about any changes I need to made to it. Currently, there is only a PC build of the game, sorry mac users. But not to worry when it is complete I will release it on gamejolt and gamemaker player. Why game maker player? Because games uploaded to gamemaker player will not only work on PC but on Mac as well! last I checked anyway.
Now let's get to the current subject, Project Metal Slug. I am a huge fan of Metal Slug! So much in fact, I decided to build my own version to tribute the series. However, instead dying with a single hit and losing a life, you will have a health bar and no lives. There will be a total of ten randomly selected missions to play, making the game's story different every time you play. At the beginning of every mission you will be allowed to save a check point. So if you die, you have to start the mission from the very beginning. Each mission will consist of ten waves/segments. On the fifth wave you will fave a randomly selected mini boss and on the tenth you will face the Mission Boss, which is different depending how far in the game the mission is spawned. Vendors can be found at the beginning of missions and in between waves. Vendors will sell you amo or upgrades for your weapons! There are four basic weapons; Heavy Machine Gun, Shotgun, Flame Shot, and the Rocket Launcher. All four can be upgraded into more powerful variations.
Now as for the characters, I aim to have the four original Metal Slug characters to be in the game. It would be weird to not have them. At the same time time, I am going add completely new characters. A few created by me, and hopefully character's from other people! So if you want your "fursona" or OC to take part in the game as a playable character, a vendor, p.o.w.s, or even a boss, please let me know! Now keep in mind I can't add every character suggestion I get into the game as a playable or boss. That's why we have vendors and p.o.w.s(Prisoners of War).
Now as for the Universal Crossover Game, I still plan to do that one. But it is not going to start production until later on down the line until I get the comic under way. So with that being said, I have already decided to add a couple of my friend Greyofpta's Character's, Mildred and Bindi as playable characters since it's going to be a long time before I can continue planning for the Universal Crossover game.
Later this evening I will have a Character profile pic uploaded for Mildred, and sometime tomorrow I aim to have one for Bindi as well.

On the contrary, metal slug came out in 1996 on the sink arcade cabinets. For It's time, it was the most well animated and designed 2d action shooter. They once had to dial back the content of one of the serials because it overloaded the cabinet's mother board an caught it on fire! You can actually find the slug games on steam as well some game counsels these days.
Ha ha ha ha, I never realized how similar we are when it comes to humor until now. This makes things in life even better. We should write a comic strip or something together some day. Of course with our minds combined it would probably collapse all of existence. Good thing I have a bag of potato chips and a bomb shelter made out ply wood from 1853 so I could survive!
