Blah, so some flaws managed to sneak into my comic while working on it the past few days... so I'm going to sleep on it and decide do I try and fix them, or leave them be tomorrow. As much as I've flipped, spun, and twisted around the canvas, they just aren't going away tonight.
Anyway, there is this. This thing, I really messed up with this thing. You might be saying, "what? it looks okay." not the point. So I'm given a flip around touchscreen laptop (I think the cool kids call these a 2'n'1 or something. Like a Yoga, but not a Yoga. ASUS made this thing, didn't bother to find out what they named it.) to install a Bamboo pen on it for someone. So I mess around with it, got it to work, it would take a screen shot and you could doodle notes on it. That's good and all, but...
It had a trial of Sketchbook Pro on there so I "tested" the Bamboo Pen even more. A circle turned into a head, gained a neck, grew a body, sprouted an arm, stuck out his tongue, and gave the thumbs up. I was impressed at how quickly and accurately I made this. For a cheap little stylus/pen thing paired to a goofy touchscreen, it felt like using my Intuos, just the art was coming out under from under the pen, and not on a screen somewhere else. Now I'm hooked.
Now I want to invest in a Cintiq for my own setup... Life is short, it will probably happen, time will tell if something like that can give me better traction on my art. I'd like to dream it will let me draw even more often, at a faster rate, with higher quality. Or maybe I'll put out the same old stuff, who knows! Tune in next time.

P.S. It looks goofy cause I couldn't grab the digital file at the time, so I resorted to sending it to a printer and scanning it at home. Gotta love that dot matrix.
