I remember more uptoday comador the big floppy disks commander keen, burts dinosaurs , another dinosaur game you had to hunt down blueprints and survive type thing. and the game that h ad druzzles and some worm to help learn words game

that is fine , its such computer being gentle with it does not make it degrade that much , these computers could pretty much survive anything because they were very simple , heck even person with no IT knowledge and manual coule replace broken components and repair basic circuitry

Ideal in a lot of this old technology but that is not a Commodore 64 that I'm familiar with I've never seen one that looks like that before.

That one looks like the one i had (the 4year old me declared it was mine, my dad lost that fight.), maybe there was more than one model? Region-based models? Europe/America versions?

it is commodore 64 100% , maybe European one looks sightly different but it is 100% commodore 64

I know it's a Commodore 64 it's just strikingly different from any Commodore 64 that I've seen here in Canada the shape is slightly different the coloring is completely different then there's the fact of where the nameplate is located as a few examples.

I don't have a picture of the one I had that I sold a few months ago. Technically it now belongs to what would be considered a museum.i ran into a fellow building a little museum in his office building. He's got a series of different vintage machines that he's putting on display in cases in a section of the office that they're building guys a software designer or something like that and he got a fair bit of Commodore goodies from me I tracked him down a monitor and some other stuff including a working 64 that I had since the 80s. Been meaning to get a hold of a Victor 20 where he's looking for one. It's kind of thing I do I'm one of those guys who tracks down old Technology quite regularly.

the Commodore 64 he got from Me is the one that they commonly sold here in Canada the one you've got I think is more common in the country you're in.

oh, I like old tech! hell, i still use DDR1 system for old games ^.^

i personally don't see why use old pc for old games , most games even really old ones run fine on win7 (pc games that is)

there are a lot of PC games that cant run on newer OS's for example fighters anthology. don't of crap to do. just to get it work on newer OS's its just easier to use older pc. plus my old pc doubles at Teamspeak server. ^.^

my pc can still run settlers 2 , and that's oldest game i own for PC

that game has had support for the DS recently. but i am not a programer. i just know i have had some problems installing some older games on my PC. and it is win 10.

Oh my god I have the Commodore 128 :D
My father got it back in '86 as a christmas present but then lost it somehow, we discovered it while cleaning out the basement somewhere around 2010 and now it's mine.
Mine also comes with a printer and the floppy disk drive in addition to the tape-thingy.
My favourite c64-games are Night Rider and Caverns of Khafka, got a whole box full of games!

I know this is old but I have fond memories of my C64. I loved it. Wasn't my first computer (That was a Color computer 2) but it was my faviorit one. Back in the day when the internet didn't really exsist and all you had was local BBS systems you called up.

it was my first , any computer was super rare where i lived.
