Having been commissioned by a wealthy merchant to paint a portrait of his lovely daughter, Mona Jessamina, the multi-talented Lianarda has been slowly falling in love with her subject. At first things went smoothly, but then a week or so into the project Lianarda found that the mouse girl's formerly enigmatic smile seemed to be a shade more than friendly. She even thought she caught Jessamina wink at her once or twice, but put it down to her infatuation with the girl. Then, as the painting was nearing completion, and Lianarda was concentrating hard, putting the final touches to her subject's lips, the unthinkable happened! She glanced up from her work to see that the sly mouse girl had not only shifted into a reclined and subtly provocative pose, but was also lowering her bodice to expose the bountiful assets nature had bestowed upon her and giving the rabbit a definite 'come-on' smile that could not be mistaken for anything else. Lianarda blushed deeply, her paw twitched, and a streak appeared all the way across the painting. No matter though. The painting could be changed back. Not so easy for Lianarda's heart. Mona Jessamina had cast her spell and the great Lianarda was hers to command from that moment forward. Just as the crafty mouse had planned from the very first.

No matter what alternate timeline or past lives they might experience, I think it's safe to say that these two are, always have been and always will be perfect for each other. Though I would imagine that any future paintings that might have followed this one would have to be stored in the Louvre's private rooms, behind locked doors!

Liane looks really cute here, too, and also very sexy, and that blush is adorable!

You are definitely right about the fact that no matter where or when, Jessie and Liane are destined to be together. And paintings to follow will probably be finger paintings.....allllll over their little bodies.
I never get tired of commishing art of Liane and Jess together! It's a darn good thing you like it too or I'd be in trouble, cause I can't stop. All the little sartorial details are Salty's, you know? I leave outfits and background up to her always cause she has such good taste in them. I just give her the direction I want a picture to go and set her loose and she always pleases. ;3
I also love doing pictures of alternate lives/realities....whatever you want to call them. Sometimes I think of them as former lives. Like they've been reincarnated down through the centuries.

Coming up with ideas to fit the theme is one of the things I think you're best at.

Oh, brag away. You deserve to! The two of you teamed up come up with some of the best pictures on this site, I think, and certainly some of the cutest. And that's not just because so many of them include Jessie and Liane.

Okay, let me clarify that--while I always love seeing Liane and Jessamine, alone or together, it would be great to see more of them as Lianarda da Lapina and Mona Jessamina, because I like these versions of them.

Oh, well I wondered if that's what you meant since you've been a long time watcher of mine. Sorry to say, it's unlikely I'll reprise them in these roles. I generally do only one picture on any given historical people or event. I'm trying to spread this kind of picture around in time and place as much as possible.
I don't find it creepy that you'd like to see paws. We all have things we especially like, and there are a lot of paw aficianados in the community.

She joked with me on a previous picture, asking if I'd found the dog in it when there actually no dog to be found. So when I called her on it she threatened to hide a dog in the rest of my pictures. So far as I know, this one is the only one where she carried through on that.
