just saying "this is Nice" is always a understatement....

This is what happens when you start mixing different games and animes.

Your art isn't bad, style wise, but your characters are a tad too cliche.

I was referring to the hair, the one wing, the somewhat outlandish weapon, super skinny and tall, and the black 'dark, mysterious' clothing.

Guess what Final Fantasy game I'm gonna blame :D

Other than the stuff about anotomy and cliched costuming, neither of which i could really personally care about since Cliche never neccesarily meant bad and anatomy (while VERY important to learn) doesnt matter it if you can atleast make it feel like all the pieces go together, i would just like to point out the things that stick out for me. The front arm and the tail.

The arm looks okay untill the elbow joint. then it looks like it goes on longer than the rest, which is funky. try to make shoulder to elbow area and the elbow to hand area the same length. and as psychweasal said taper the tail when its close to the body.

P.S back in 2004 i got this, Learn how to draw manga: male characters book and the anotomy pics and hints in there are awesome. Keep an eye out for the series cuz a lot of the books are really cool.

Well I still like this, new head or old head. Maybe the first one's head was overshadowed by his hair, that's probably why it seems so small.

This is still rockin' awesome, I see so many video game hero/villian references, and that's just awesome. ^^
