Commission Rescue Charity Contest! #1
Hey guys. Bully here.
I follow a couple furry drama blogs, mostly just to keep myself on the up and up on what I need to know because I’m bad at engaging in communities. But I’ve seen a lot of stories about people paying good money for commissions and having those commissions never work out.
I want to help everyone that this has happened to, but it’s just not possible for any one person to take on all that work. That being said, I’m still going to do my part.
I am now going to be running a MONTHLY “contest” for those of you who have been jilted over a commission.
What does this mean for you? Well, I’ll be taking on one project every month to complete a piece of art that was not fulfilled by a paid commission. So if you have paid money for a commission and have not had that project completed for a reason other than actual hardship on the part of the artist, hit me up and with luck, I’ll do the project for you free of charge.
What do you need to do to qualify?
First, the commission I am redoing must not be completed. I will not redo a project just because you didn’t like how it turned out - unless it’s obvious that the artist gave the minimum amount of effort and did not attempt to fulfill the commission to a reasonable degree of satisfaction.
Second, the commission had to be fully or mostly paid for in excess of a reasonable amount of time prior. That means that it can’t have only been a month ago that you paid for it. It has to be clear that the artist has no intention of completing the project or giving a refund. It helps if the artist has a beware out on them for your project or others.
Third, you must have proof that the art piece has been deserted and that you have paid for it. Your chances will be better if you have a friend corroborate your story.
Whatever art piece I am replacing, I can only do to the best of my own ability. I cannot fulfill commissions for physical art pieces like sculptures or plushes, animation of any kind, sprite art, 3D modeling, or fetishes that fall outside my code of conduct. I also cannot do art pieces that contain three or more characters due to time constraints. I will not do anything above what the commission actually was, meaning that if you paid for a black and white line art piece, I will not color it.
Remember, this is completely free of charge. Whatever you yourself decide to pay me will be considered a tip and will not be asked for. I do not expect anything in return for this.
Send me a message via Tumblr, FurAffinity, Telegram, Discord or Furvilla by November 1st to enter. Your project, if chosen, will be completed by November 31st.
