More animated art! Since the first animated piece we did was so well-received, here's another!

Done in AfterEffects - my mate is learning a handful of techniques to help bring 2d art to life, by means of special effects such as fog, flickering candle flames, water, etc. Its still a learning process and this is only the second one he's done. A soundtrack can also be added, in this case we wanted to include a clip from the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack.

Because of the length of the music clip, the actual video loop was quite long, which made the file pretty huge. We had to shrink this down quite a bit, if you'd like to see the original, full-res version it can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5gb9ynn3i.....%20Me.mp4?dl=0

We more than likely won't add actual music to these again, to avoid this issue in the future. Instead, we'll stick to ambient soundtracks such as crickets, birds, wind in the the leaves, rain etc. Shorter loops, smaller files, everyone's happy. ;)

What was changed:
~ Darkened the overall piece to make it look more murky
~ Enhanced the soft glow on the figures and added glow to the eyes
~ Enhanced the glow around the candle flames
~ Replaced the candles with actual flickering flames
~ Added a fog effect along the bottom edge of the image

This was all the work of , I just watched and offered input every so often. ;)

If you guys have any ideas for other effects we can try out, feel free to make suggestions. We want to practice some more pieces before we officially offer this up as a commission option.
