I know it looks like he's missing the joint in his elbow, and that's probably cause I forgot to do the lighting on it and it's totally black...*facepalm*
anyway, finished after I was watching Nei's Livestream for almost two days, I had done a lighting effect and had loaded it up to DA a couple days back, but after watching the way Nei did her lighting on metal on todays first piece, I felt inspired to come back and give it another go...it looks sooooooooo much better, way more realistic LoL
I've got at least three pics that I gotta get done before I can do teh part two to this pic and merge them, so it may be awhile before that happens, so hold tight and it'll come eventually!

Thanks! and I've only heard about that game(I still gotta check it out, sounds awesome though!), but I think you might be right on that! (though I had started this prior to having seen the commercials for it) I was going for a look that would put MasterChief IN HIS PLACE! LOL really though, MC is awesome, I just wanna one-up his armor(gunmetal is sooooo much cooler than MC army green, not that his isn't cool or nuthin) very hard to do though! LoL
Eeeh that arguable...MC's armor leans more on the 'realistic' side of what that kind of armor would look like while Samus's leans highly on the sci-fi/futuristic, kinda 'out there' side, personally though, I like the look of MC's armor because it looks the way it's supposed to function, Efficient and somewhat stealthy...it's green and not the bright flashy colors that samus has(Which I'm not a huge fan of, has the feel of having a target painted on your chest...) samus's has the look of being more for looks(as well as some function), where as MC's is pure function...Plus, I not a big fan of those huge shoulder pads either, they seem like they would get in the way alot...so i guess I would have ta say I'm more of a Chief fan than Samus(not to say I don't like samus though, she's still awesome...)
yeah, samus has diff suits, but they all have the same general form to them..the big shoulder things(except for awhile in the GC game) and the tight as armor that really wouldn't do much for protection in reality...just looks sweet as hell
and yeah, I've been trying to get my hands on a copy of the Conduit for a little while now, just haven't gotten around to looking up the armor or checking out the game *is lazy*
