Deathmetal of his Doberman character dressed as a 40K Space Marine. He didn't have a preference on chapter, so I went with the Space Wolves as it seemed the most appropriate.

This is a great take on the combination of the canine with the 40K Space Marine armor. even going to full detail in the armor with his paw like boots.
This is a great piece, I like the stance of the pose and the slight grim look of the 40K universe
as a fellow 40K player I have just one thing too say: "Death to the false emperor!"

to be honest I kinda made it up as I went along, going loosely from a couple illustrations I'd found online. I'm not too well versed in Space Marine armor specifics (being I play 'nids and
pvpbob plays tau), so your guess is as good as mine as to what specific armor type it is. ;^_^

I can say it would be classified as artificer armor. It has too many embellishments and decorations to be normal armor. As for the mark, most likely Mk3 "Iron" Pattern, with some other pieces form Mk6 "Heresy" Pattern thrown in. And before anyone comments, i am a Space Marine player, I used the new codex for reference, and the picture is freaking awesome. 'FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!!'
That'd be Mk3 Iron and Mk 5 Heresy. Though artificer I'd say is the most likely, more likely based off the MK 6 as that had some of the rivets from the Mk 5 still in place but reduced the number of power cables on the outside like this case shows. So produced nearer the end of the Heresy, also the large aquilla on the front pretty much sits it at the early stages of MK 7 production as only that style armour has them. So probably made by someone in the early stages of Mk 7 production using some throw backs from Mks 5 and 6.
Damn I love being a nerd some times.

"We are the Emperor's chosen!" I love the attention of the details you drew into this Space Marine's armour. Purity seals, company banner, shoulder badges, holy icons, wolfheads on the backpack power supply, bolter and chainsword, and so on. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm gushing, but I do admire the Adeptus Astartes for their tech, and you captured the look and feel of it. I still prefer playing Imperial Guard. Even if all we have is cardboard armour and over-sized flashlights as our only protection against the horrors in the 40K universe.
