Now that the Spyro Soundfont Collection got put out on the web recently, I took it upon myself to run midi files through that soundfont (or at least what's left of it after butchering it in the name of GM/GS/size optimizations). Here is one of those soundfont covers of popoular music midis that all the cool kids are doing.

It's not entirely all Spyro (more like Kurzweil) sounds though: the strings are from the Archano Soundfont that were tweaked to have only the PC-88 (a Kurzweil synth) samples, the timpani is ripped from Kingdom Hearts (probably from a Kurzweil), and Tuba that I don't recall the source of hiding somewhere in that cacophony (there's a cookie reward if you can find it :P).Song Facts:
