One of the races from my fantasy world Cloudsdruff, the Skarrat live in a swamp-like area in a crater. They live in harmony with a large variety of insects and live the lives of fishermen upon the swamp. Their docks writhe with fish and insects and busy lizards going about their daily tasks. They are quite primative and worship an insect-lizard hybrid goddes from which their race name is derrived from and their country. The lands around are typically very muggy and one must watch out for mosquitos carrying deadly diseases, or for the less friendly wild reptiles and insects of alarming size and appetite.
