Finally I was able to draw them again!! It's so strange to draw larger characters like this since I'm not used to it at all. Hah!

But these two are just so cute <3 And their colors together makes me love them even more!

I've figured out that Zell first sees Lana through the windows of the home she lives in with her adoptive family. The family is very kind to her, but are ignorant on her needs. They are a vegan family so they feed her vegan foods, but she's mainly a carnivore. She can do fine with some veggies and the like, but she can't thrive that way. She doesn't know that herself, though, so she doesn't have objections to what they feed her.
Because of that, I see her sickly a lot and underweight.
Then, somehow, Zell begins to interact with her. He can tell she's not doing well, so he'll introduce her to some raw meat~ So their bonding happens over that. Of course this all has to happen while the humans aren't around.

At some point he'll be able to take her away to live the life she'd thrive in!
