This is based off a location from my various pokemon series called Murex City.

Ultimatly, my goal here was to try and make an in-depth background using perspective. There's a lot going on, yet at the same time I feel like I could have added a few more things - maybe some more neon signs, or maybe even heavier mist in the back as to show how heavy the rain was - but I wanna move on from this pic, can't nit-pick forever.

There used to be more characters, but I didn't like how they were "popping" out of the image. I decided to try reworking some of them (which you can see with the typholosion and breloom) to remove their outlines and help them blend in better. It worked pretty well, but I didn't feel like doing that to all the pokemon on the scene.

Also, in my attempts to make the background less barren, ive stumbled upon a rather interesting concept - using the background and visuals itself to tell a story. Those simple posters and graffiti do wonders in that regard - you may not know what is going on exactly, but you can make some pretty strong assumptions based on what is presented.
