I love the image, and I realize it's a bit silly to complain about scientific realism in a picture of a zebra-inspired gargoyle; but since that character was drawn photo-realistically, and since you obviously care about lighting, I must observe that the tips of a crescent moon can't extend around more than half its circumference - not if it's a sphere being lit from a distance. You could get this effect with an eclipse, if a smaller moon passed in front of the larger one, although it would be difficult to avoid having a crescent on the smaller moon as well. Or you could just chalk it up to artistic license!
