Well, I wanted to upload something today. I got a commission done earlier today but I'm waiting on the client to approve it, so I can't upload that. I decided to go ahead and upload what I worked on today on my day off. :)
It's young Tommy! :D About 7 years old or so. He's really sad, and oh God, spaniels have those super sad eyes. :( His father (who is a total asshole) is punishing him by tying him to a post in the front yard. :/ What a dick. He's really sorry though! :( In the colored version, his eyes are all watery and teared up. XD It's too cute. It's not finished yet though!
GAH!!! Little kids in Victorian times were too cute with their caps and knickers. D: And spaniel eyes...

Awww, I'm so sorry to hear you go through that :( *hugs*
Tommy's dad, in my mind, was one of those super-religious "spare the rod and spoil the child" type of fathers... but he took it a bit too far (even for Victorian/Edwardian times). He always wanted his sons to be men... even when they were kids, and he pushed them too far. Granted, he was a good dad in his own respects, making sure his sons grew up amongst the upper middle-class people and having everything they needed, but all Tommy really wanted was his dad to say "I love you" at least once in his life... that and get rid of the belt and stop tying him up in the front yard.
Oh God... I used to hate when my family would bring out the photo albums. XD I kind of like it now. Actually, I'm starting to love it. Maybe it's because I'm older and the thought childhood and being so young feels so good. Maybe I should upload some pics of me as a kid to Photobucket and post them in a journal. ^__^ I have some goofy pics!
