Those "Alaska Huskies" are the type I am always trying to describe to people, my dog is also a large part Alaska husky and everyone is like "he doesn't look like a husky" and I'm just like nuuu...I mean the sled dog type..not the typical husky most people think of
Also that's really amazing, I'm really glad you have a friend who is into it and get to experience it. I've always wanted to own a dog team.
