This is a little speedpaint I made last night.
I think it took around 4 hours or so. It doesn't have the level of polish that my longer timed pieces have, but I'm rather happy with the tail in the water.

It was really satisfying to just relax and take something from start to finish within a day, with no additional planning.

I think speedpaints like this are a good way for me to discover what to practice, too. When I make longer timed pictures, I plan things out, and fix mistakes. On things like this, I think both my strengths and weaknesses are both more visible.
