The next to the last of the original A & Q model sheets...this character has not yet appeared in FURRLOUGH....he is the main villain of a story I have set in the Middle East,which I plan on pitching to Radio Comix as a full length Graphic Novel in 2007.Abahma Nabul was the dictator of a small but rich in resources Middle Eastern country which had been at war with a neighboring state for decades.Driven from power by a popular uprising and the desertion of what was left of his army,Nabul fled into the treacherous mountain ranges bordering the two countries,where he soon gained power over the ragtag nomadic tribes and Bandit gangs inhabiting the area,uniting them into a Terrorist insurgent force to regain control of his country.In the meantime,however, a fragile peace has been brokered between the two small,war weary nations,and a UN force was soon hunting Nabul to bring him to justice for atrocities committed against his own people and prisoners taken during the war.Nabul was saved from capture by the WRAITH organization,promising to help return him to power,while in reality planning to seize the country for themselves.Like all Terrorist "Leaders",Nabul is a swaggering coward who sends misguided young men to their deaths,while preserving his own hide.Original art dated June 3rd,2004.
