Amaranth!
It's the ninth day of the month, and this mysterious wood-scaled serpent is my ninth character, and he seems to have a certain affinity with the nigh-on infinitely vast forests that covers much of the land of the world he lives in. I made him with the help of Amaranth in May of 2014, and we also made his companion, a faun-taur/deer-taur named Ninian. You can see them only once before in my gallery (link), which is a real shame. I have so much affection for them, I feel like they have the potential to be the most purely fun/amusing pairing Ama and I have created.
And, just as with Hyst and Kazi from yesterday's posts, and with Accuvier and Ília from the the posts on the 6th, Ama and I plan on doing a full story with them, one day. It's half written already, all done in a flurry of creativity, back when we first made them up.

I like to imagine that this pic takes place right after the last one I posted, and that Ninian has come up behind the name-challenged serpent of the forest to embrace him 'round the throat, and rest her head on his neck. She may or may not whisper something like..
'I caught you, I win.'
'What do you win, little one?'
'What I usually do: You. The ultimate prize.'
'I suppose that means you'll be staying here, to properly keep hold of your prey.'
'Hmm, I think so.'
'That will make it quite easy for me to--'
'Don't ruin this moment--!'
'Catch you!'
And the chase is on again, in a flash, the girl hurling back insults for her companion's disruption of her romantic gesture.
